Welcome to Wincanton

Methodist Church

Wincanton Methodist Church is located at the top of Wincanton High Street, on the left, shortly after the turning to the Wincanton Memorial Hall and Car Park.  There has been a Methodist Church here since 1873; when built to cope with a growing congregation, it replaced an earlier Methodist Church in North Street. The Methodist form of service is very similar to that of the Church of England; indeed, the founder of “Methodism”, John Wesley, was himself an Anglican clergyman.

Our services take place every week at 10.30am, and all are assured of a warm welcome.  Come and try us out! We always welcome new members and adherents.  Our  services are led by a team of accredited local preachers and Ministers.

Requests for prayers can be made through our Prayer Link, or in the basket placed on our Prayer Desk.
